Les Cinq Chenes is surrounded by farmland and is situated 5kms from the nearest town – Moncoutant which offers most facilities including a modern supermarket, butcher, baker, pharmacies and several hairdressers.
20kms further away is Bressuire a larger town which offers all the shops that you will need during your stay including a farmers market on a Tuesday & Saturday, where you can buy fresh vegetables, meat, fish & cheese.
The best beaches are approximately 90 minutes away in Tranche-sur-Mer and Bretignolles-sur-Mer however there are many more wonderful beaches along the coast.
